What information do we collect, and why?

When you shop with us

We process your name, address, email address, phone number and order details so that we can process and deliver your order, send order confirmations and handle returns and complaints. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary to perform the contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

We retain accounting records, including information about your purchases, for 5 years after the end of the financial year, because the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).

When you contact us

When you write to us via the contact form, email or phone, we use your information to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being able to answer enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)) or, if the enquiry concerns an order, the contract with you.

Customer account

If you create a customer account, we store your account details and order history so that you can see previous purchases and shop faster next time. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news and inspiration. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

Cookies and statistics

We use cookies. Necessary cookies ensure that the website and the shopping cart work. Other cookies, e.g. for statistics and marketing, are only used if you give consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

Who do we share information with?

We only share information when necessary, and we use data processors who process information on our instructions:

Payment providers (Stripe and the payment methods you choose, e.g. card, Klarna and Link), who process your payment.
Carriers (e.g. GLS), who deliver your parcel and receive the information necessary for delivery.
Hosting and email providers, who run our website and send emails to you.
Accounting and bookkeeping providers, where relevant.

We do not sell your personal data.

Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA

Some of our suppliers, e.g. payment providers, may process information outside the EU/EEA. This only happens on the basis of a valid transfer mechanism, e.g. the European Commission standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long do we keep the information?

Order and accounting information: 5 years after the end of the financial year.
Enquiries: as long as necessary to answer them, and normally no more than 2 years.

Your rights

You have the right to:

have inaccurate information corrected,
have information deleted, unless we are obliged to retain it,

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with how we process your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, dt@datatilsynet.dk, www.datatilsynet.dk. We would, however, like the chance to resolve the issue first.

Security

We look after your information and use technical and organisational security measures, e.g. encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access restriction, to protect it against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
